Thomas Marshall

Thomas Marshall is a gun legislation activist, author, and public speaker. When a mass shooter killed over twenty victims in August of 2019, Marshall led walkouts at Walmart’s corporate campuses, making national headlines and leading to change no one saw coming. His debut novel, No More Dead Kids, is an award-winner that earned Marshall a spot in Columbia’s MFA writing program.

The companion pod

There are so many topics in WALKOUT that merit more discussion than a 90 minute runtime can provide. Filmmaker Rob Smat interviews members of the film and researchers covering topics such as workplace activism in a limited series available wherever you listen to podcasts.

With our fiscal sponsor, The Film Collaborative, you can support the release and impact campaign of WALKOUT with a tax-deductible donation.
